Steel structure analysis What are the reinforcement methods of steel structure
1. Prestressed cable method: use high-strength cable to strengthen the weak links of the structure or improve the overall bearing capacity, stiffness and stability of the structure.
2. Remove the components that should be reinforced or updated from the original structure: when the structure is seriously damaged or the bearing capacity of the original section is too small, it must be used when the ground is reinforced or updated. At this time, temporary support must be set up to completely unload the replaced member; At the same time, the safety of the entire structure after the replacement structure is removed must be guaranteed.
3. Change the calculation diagram: add additional supports, adjust the load distribution, reduce the level of internal forces, force the superstatically determined structure supports for forced displacement, and reduce the stress peak.
4. Load reinforcement: It is used when the stress of the component (or connection) is less than 80% of the design strength of the steel, or when the component is not damaged (breakage, deformation, warpage, etc.). At this time, in order to make the new reinforcement member participate in the force, it is sometimes necessary to take temporary unloading measures for the reinforced member. In addition, care should be taken not to affect the normal use of other components when reinforcing it.
5. Cross-section reinforcement method: steel is reinforced locally or along the full length of the component, and connected into a whole to make it feel common force.
